Meet The Team

Founder & Director
Danielle Honeyands
Danielle is a dedicated KS3 and KS4 mathematics tutor with more than ten years of experience supporting students through thoughtful, individualised teaching. She serves as a governor at her local primary school, where she helps guide the development of both reading and mathematics. Her interest in maths anxiety continues to shape her approach, encouraging a calm and understanding atmosphere that helps each learner grow in confidence.

Alongside her work in education, Danielle co-manages Birchwood with her husband, Joe. She is a proud mother to her bright and spirited son, whose curiosity and wit brighten her days. She now also teaches Pilates three mornings a week, bringing her steady and encouraging style into her classes. Away from work, she enjoys horse riding, basketball, warm sunshine, and the occasional moment of indulgence with chocolate.
